Orlando is a city built around tourist attractions and you will want to ensure you have an awesome experience so make sure to read this list of the top things to do while in town.

As soon as you say the word "Disney" you can already feel your pockets draining. Even though the lands are the happiest places on earth, do they have to rob you of your heard earned cash?

The firework shows in Disney are always a must but the crowds are always a mess. Since we hate being caught up in the crowds but still want to see the show we went around, hunting for good viewing points and this is what we found.

After getting hit by a car, my mobility has not been the best. I cannot walk or stand for long periods of time and I am always in pain that gets to the point of debilitating. The only time the knee is kinda comfortable is when I'm in the wheelchair with the foot rest extended straight out and a pillow under the knee.

While Disneyland has FastPasses they are completely different from DisneyWorld's so this article is just on DisneyWorld's passes, how to use them, how to get the most out of them, and more!

When I’m headed into the Disney area I always have the debate of using one of the day on my ticket on my arrival day or if I should just hold off and use it for a full day on my trip. Most of the time I end up just killing time outside the park got get the most bang for my buck. So how do I keep myself occupied during these hours instead of heading in? Well there are quite a few things you can do.

Whether it is your first time or 17th time heading to Disney World there is a lot you can do while there that you might not even realize that you can do. As things change year to year, this list of activities may change as well as the dates so always check out Disney's website or give them a call for more information.

For me, the Photopass was a no brainer just because we never get photos of the two of us together. Since we got engaged and got the photos of it happening as well, it made it even more memorable.

With a long, hot day in the sun it's nice to be able to pop in and grab a bite to eat or a drink somewhere. The only problem is that eating out can add up and quick especially if you are trapped on theme park property but have no fear, there are some ways around this! Below is a list of places that you tend to get more bang for your buck.

Everyone of course wants to check out the Disney parks when there is no line up so you can get the best bang for your buck (ie no lines!). However the sad part is that there isn't really a "slow" or "quiet" time, the parks are always busy. The best thing you can settle for is when there isn't any insane crowds.

When it comes to planning your day at Disney, you really need to know what rides are the most popular if you are planning on riding them at least once while you are there. If you can, before you go, make sure to book your free FastPasses (check out my articles on them) as this will also guarantee that you have a spot on the rides.

Disney would like for you to pay for everything in the parks (and with the way they are going, I'm sure they will one day) but there are a lot of fun things that you can do while you are there that are either free or don't cost much. If you are staying at the park, why not take a Resort day instead of just running through the parks every day?

Last time I was at DisneyWorld I saw all these kids running around the park and activating these spots that caused a curtain to open and an animation to play before getting a symbol and running off. It was the weirdest thing! I didn't think much of it, who would you even ask to try to figure out what it was? Well when I was planning my upcoming trip, I learned exactly what it was - Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom.

Didn't get the fast pass to Pirates of the Caribbean? Or is the line up for it 30 minutes+? Well there is a way to score a fast pass for it that takes about 20 minutes and is fun (and free). Just past the entrance to the Pirates of the Caribbean is a hut ("The Crow's Nest") where you can play A Pirate's Adventure - Treasures of the Seven Seas.

The main complaint for Disney is the crowds. During high / busy season they can get crazy! Throw in the heat and cranky kids, well, it can be a massive mess. During my various trips I have come up with several ways to avoid / reduce the amount of time standing in line.

When it comes to booking a Disney vacation one of the biggest questions is, should we book a Disney hotel or not? Disney vacations are not cheap but when it comes down to it whether booking a vacation at one of their hotels vs. not might just depend on the type of vacation you are wanting.

Screw the Disney hotel, I just want to go to the park! While saving money on just tickets cna be difficult, it is not impossible. Here are my go to's:

Disney wants a place where everyone can escape and be a kid again; after all that is how they make the big bucks! That being said, life does happen and when it does, how does Disney handle it?

I was at a party once and this very drunk woman came stumbling up to me "I'm not a stalker but I've been tracking your Disney trip, it was so beautiful! How did you do it? For my daughter and me to go it's going to cost us like $10,000". My shocked reply was "How? What are you booking?" but she stumbled off without an answer. I looked at my soon to be husband dumbfounded.

The Magic Kingdom is such a magical place with lots to explore, see, and do. On my first trip here I ended up taking the behind the scene's tour which took us all over (and under) the park. Here are some of the tidbits I picked up from the tour as well as other things I've learned along the way.

If you purchase a hotel & park tickets through Disney you will be gifted with an item referred to as "Extra Magic Hours" - this is at all Disney Parks. Now this is not to be confused with "After Magic Hours" or "After Hours". An "Extra Magic Hour" is when resort (or Friendly Neighbor hotel) guests get into the park either an hour before opening or an hour or two after closing.

Walt Disney World is getting a new form of transportation that should be opening soon! The gondola type transportation will take people betwee Disney's Hollywood Studios and International Gateway at Epcot to the following Resort hotels: Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney's Art of Animation Resort, Disney's Pop Century Resort and Disney's Riviera Resort.
