Walt Disney World is getting a new form of transportation that should be opening soon! The gondola type transportation will take people betwee Disney's Hollywood Studios and International Gateway at Epcot to the following Resort hotels: Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney's Art of Animation Resort, Disney's Pop Century Resort and Disney's Riviera Resort.

This state of the art system is supposed to "add an extra dash of pixie dust to your day" as you get a birds eye view over the parks and the area below. It will also be faster than bus during rush hour supposedly.

These gondola's are covered in different images of Disney characters and a lot of Disney fan's get extremely excited when a new one is spotted. Some even say that due to this new form of transportation it will cause bus transportation to be reduced and room prices to increase at the resorts it is connected to.

It will be a relatively smooth ride and although there is no air conditioning in the cars, there are windows that allow for a cross breeze that will keep the cars cool and they also have stickers on them to reflect the Florida sun.

Tip Guests travelling on the Disney Skyliner will not be able to access the Epcot parking lot after Epcot has closed for the day. The buses will still run for about an hour after the park has closed so you can take one of them to the lot.
