The majority of people will head into Manhattan and stay here as this is the part of the city that is most well known as being "New York". This is where you will find Times Square, the Empire State Building, Central Park, MET, Wall Street, Broadway, etc.

This very populated NYC borough was actually named after a Dutch village (Breukelen). Although, Dutch this borough is not. Out of the five boroughs this is considered the most "real" New York.

Once part of New Jersey, this lonely island is separated from both New York City and New Jersey by tidal straight or a river. Due to it's location, it is an island that has a lot of parks and some great views of the surrounding areas.
