General Cruise Info & Preparation

Researching a cruise is a lot of work! Due to that (and because I spend months doing it) I'm going to share my knowledge with you. When it comes to deciding on a cruise, these are some of the ways I would assist my customers in finding what would work for them and I also used it for deciding on my cruise.

After I had decided on a cruise, the next thing I wanted to look at was the different cruise lines that would interest me and then from there decide on a location. Being on a floating city with thousands of other people and not wanting to get sick is quite the impossible task or at least that is what I though prior to boarding. As someone that has had Norwalk I was not a person who wanted to get it again so I looked into how I could avoid it. I also stocked up on Purell.

Port of Miami is found on a two-island, seven air conditioned terminals (12 cruise lines dock there currently), complex in Biscayne Bay, adjacent to downtown Miami and only 8 miles from the Miami International Airport. It is the largest year-round terminal in the world and sees over 4 million passengers a year.

If you are going on a cruise or if you watch the news then you've probably come across "Norovirus" outbreaks. I've had the Norovirus (picked it up from someone when I worked in a mall food court) and it is horrible plus highly contagious.

When I first started travelling, wondering if my cell phone would work was never a worry. Why would I need it? The odd call? Ever since my trip to the Netherlands I have found it an invaluable tool that helps prevent me from getting lost and to help translate the local dialect. Like most technology, I can't remember how I ever lived without it.

When we all strive to enjoy the time of our lives while on vacation, things don't always go as planned. As a result, all-inclusive cruises have gained popularity due to their capacity to provide everything, which may seem unachievable, but the way they manage such a diverse group of people and cater to their needs at practically any time of the day certainly leaves you in awe.
