Top Beaches in Hoi An

by Female Abroad

Hoi An is situated right on the coast so of course there are going to be quite a few beaches and since Hoi An is known as one of the best beach destinations in Asia, you must check out at least one! From romance to diving, extravagant resorts, wanting to escape the hustle and bustle, and gorgeous white sand beaches, it is not hard to come up with a reason to head to one.

Cua Dai Beach: regularly named one of the most beautiful beaches in Hoi An, this beach is home to a number of high-end luxury resorts, luxury hotels, boutique hotels, and spas that attract tourists from all over the world. Besides watersports, eating seafood while surrounded by palm trees will make you feel like you are in the Caribbean.

An Bang Beach: Your mind will be blown by An Bang Beach's long palm trees and fine smooth sand. Given that An Bang Beach is only 3 km from the heart of Hoi An, it is the beach that receives the most visitors out of all the other ones around the city and it is also an ideal choice if you want to experience the wildest nightlife on a beach in the area.

Hidden Beach: Aptly named, Hidden Beach is actually one of Hoi An's best kept secrets. Found halfway between Cua Dai and An Bang, you can find opulent beachfront hotels, a bunch of seafood restaurants, and very little tourist traffic.

Ha My Beach: The sunsets and sunrises on this beach are stunning but at 7 km away from Hoi An, it is one of the furthest. However, if you want to spend some quality time with your family or friends on a beach in complete tranquilly and comfort, add Ha My Beach to your list of options. Since it is less crowded than the first two beaches, it often gives the impression that you are on a private beach that you can enjoy however you choose. If you don't want to make the trek back to Hoi An in the same day, there are a few small hotels and homestays that you can spend the night at very affordably.

Binh Minh Beach: Found 12 km outside of town, this small beach is a great place to head to if you want a more authentic experience as it is usually locals and fishermen who come here. If you are going to spend the day doing sightseeing of local villages then making a stop here to try extremely fresh seafood or to engage with the locals.
