Victoria Tours

by Female Abroad

If you are following me on Instagram then you may have read or seen me doing a variety of different activities around the city. If you have not and you are interested to heading to Victoria but you are not quite too sure what to do then this article is for you! As a native from the island I have spend several decades trying all sorts of experiences. This is an affiliate post so if you purchase anything we do get a small kickback, which helps us keep the site running, however I have done all of these experiences so I know that they are legit.

Vancouver to / from Victoria

If you are starting on the mainland and heading to the island then BC Ferries is the way that most people head to the island but I have taken a Sea Plane and if you have the chance to do it, do it! I really enjoyed the views of the trip to / from the island but it was quite loud so do not expect to be able to hear the person next to you. Sometimes it is nice to take the ferry over then fly back to Vancouver so then you get to experience both. This is one of my favorite ways to show off the area to people visiting.

Victoria is the capital city of British Columbia and was the original West Coast entry to the country before Vancouver grew into the massive, world class city that it is today. There is actually over 6,000 years of history to Victoria so if you head over learning about some of the past is a must.
