JUNGLE QUEEN

by Female Abroad

While we did not go on this boat while we were here our cabbie recommended it to us and the few times we went by there was a massive line up to get on. This riverboat has been doing these tours since 1935 so they are clearly doing something right if they are still as busy as ever. When it comes to the boat you have three options:

1. 90 minute sightseeing cruise of the area

We offer a variety of fully narrated 90-Minute Sightseeing cruises down the "Venice of America," Fort Lauderdale's New River, sailing through Millionaire's Row with homes of the Rich and Famous, spectacular Mega Yachts, and sights beyond belief.

With how busy the lines always looked, we asked our concierge if we should pre-book or just try to go. She said we should pre-book but since we didn't know what we would be doing that night or the next day we decided to try to risk it and ended up not making it on. If you are going to go and try to do it in person, there are little touristy info booklets at the airport you can grab as well as in the cabs that sometimes will get you $3/per person off the price of a cruise. If you want to go and want to pre-book then you can get tickets here. Things may change due to COVID so make sure to check their website.
